About a month ago, Jen and I decided to head south to explore what Kent has to offer. Since it’s so far from where I live, I haven’t taken the time to check out the city. To my surprise, there were a lot of unique restaurants and tasting rooms. We wanted to check out Reds Wine and Craft Beers in Kent.

This place sits near Kent Station a little tucked away. The location is a little deceptive as it looks fairly small. There was some outdoor seating and plenty of room inside! The decor is inviting with a lot of room for various party sizes.

A special part about Reds Wine and Craft Beers in Kent is that it offers a variety of red and white wines, plus craft beers and cider. Most of the options are from local wineries and breweries, but there are also options outside of Washington.

This is the perfect spot for a date night with your significant other or even some friends. They have food options like poke bowls, flatbreads, nachos, and so much more.

Both of us opted for a glass pour rather than an entire tasting flight. Jen tried the Alexandria Nicole Viognier, WA and I tried Iris Pinot Gris from Oregon. Both were very refreshing and perfect for a hot summer day!

Reds Wine Bar + Craft Beers in Kent has events weekly! They’re quite busy. Some weeks they have live music or comedy on Saturday. Throughout the week they may feature a tasting flight from specific wineries or breweries. Every Sunday they have “Mingo”. If you want to know what it is, Mingo is an exciting, free-to-play musical spin on the traditional game of Bingo. Instead of listening for a number, players are listening to their favorite music.

If you are exploring Kent, make sure to stop by Reds Wine Bar + Craft Beers in Kent~!
