We were so excited to check out Sleight of Hand Cellars’ latest tasting room in Woodinville! The tasting room is located in the Hollywood Schoolhouse area. The space was previously occupied by Long Shadows, who moved out late last year (2023.) The other side of this space is the new tasting room for Darby Winery.

Immediately we took in the decor, it is funky and fun. Sleight of Hand Cellars has a great vibe! We loved seeing some of our favorite Seattle band posters on the walls. I walked in and knew that these were my kind of people.

Did you know that “Sleight of Hand Cellars” is inspired by Trey Busch’s favorite Pearl Jam song, Sleight of Hand? This, in turn, sparked the vintage magic theme. All the labels have old-school illustrations of conjurors, wizards, illusionists, etc. I had to do a double take because the “The Conjurer” bottle resembles Patrick Harris. I learned that it is Patrick Harris because he is a wine club member!

Our host was generous and let us try a splash of their 2022 “The Magician” Riesling. This is bright and delightful, perfect for a hot summer day.

Next time, we will do a full tasting and try their famous red wines!

In other locations, they have a ton of rock albums and play them on an old jukebox. I hope we will see that in their new Woodinville tasting room!

You can shop for Sleight of Hand Cellars swag on your way out. Rock albums inspire all their merchandise!

I can’t wait to visit Sleight of Hand Cellars again  to enjoy the atmosphere, wine, and chat with fellow rockers.
