I recently popped into Darby Winery in Woodinville with my friend Camellia to taste wine and watch her finally be able to join the wine club here. She was so excited!

We had intended to sit on the patio and so brought my dog Freddy with us. The weather took a turn for the worse so the tasting room staff graciously let us sit at a corner table where we could stash Freddy so he wasn’t underfoot.

We enjoyed our wine flight of Darby’s stellar Washington wine, starting with a welcome pour of Rosé, then a white wine (I forgot to take notes! Marsanne?) followed by the red wines. I was delighted by the bonus pour of Petite Sirah, a more unusual varietal here in Washington.
It’s always wonderful to catch up on news with a friend at Darby Winery’s chic, cozy and unpretentious tasting room in the Hollywood District here in Woodinville Washington!
Visit @darbywinerywa for more info on their wines and upcoming events.
