Blackberry margarita at Airways Brewing, Kent, WA

I was hunting for a new bistro/brewery and was so happy to find Airways Brewing bistro and beer garden! This brewery offers a selection of its own brews and guest brews from several other PNW breweries. I love it when I find a winery or brewery that makes the choice to not only serve their own beer and wine but those of other producers.

There is also a wonderful list of cocktails on the menu here. This is the Agua Fresca cocktail, made with Tequila, lime juice, pomegranate juice, and a chili salt rim. Perfectly refreshing with a sweet/spicy flavor.

Airways has a bar as well as a nice seating area. Most exciting is the newly expanded beer garden. I’ll report back on that soon once I have a chance to return. It was under construction when I visited.

Moscow Mule at Airways Brewing, Kent, WA

This was a refreshing blackberry mule, perfect on a warm end-of-summer day. Next time, I might order the “sixth borough” or a Mezcal Paloma. You can check out the full bistro menu, here.

Airways Brewin, Kent, WA

This is part of the indoor seating area which overlooks the patio. We sat in a nice cozy corner recently and ordered fried pickles, a burger, and a smoked turkey sandwich. You can see more from that meal, on our “restaurant news” highlight page here.

The Bistro and Beer Garden is in Downtown Kent at 320 W. Harrison Street, Kent, WA 98032, all ages are welcome.

Airways Brewing has a second location, the Tap Room and Brewery located at 8611 S 212th St. Kent, WA 98031. Open Tuesdays – Friday from 3-8 p.m. and Saturdays from 2-6 p.m. and is dog friendly. Ages twenty-one and up.

A great lunch, dinner, and drink spot. I can’t wait to go back to try more from the menu and some beer!
